Dear Mr. Cassar and Mr. Bennett,

On behalf of KYTES' youth, staff and Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for choosing KYTES as co-recipient of the proceeds from your 2001 charity auction. Everyone we met from MPICA showed wonderful enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the work of the charities you support.

I can't express strongly enough how much the auction proceeds mean to KYTES. Without MPICA's support, we would have had a much harder time delivering our current program to the homeless and street-involved Toronto youth. The injection of cash isn't the only benfit to our organization, however. MPICA's support will, we hope, attract new sponsors from the film, television and theatre community to KYTES.

We were delighted to be able to attend part of the Lights, Camera, Auction event, and to share information about the needs of at-risk youth with the auction participants and organizers.

My sincerest thanks again for letting us be part of it.

Sincerely,

Mary Breen

Dear Mr. Cassar and Mr. Bennett,

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to Canine Companions for Independence. With your support, you are helping people with disabilities pursue their dreams of independence, and we are very grateful.

Your contributions will work in many ways to renew the lives of people with disabilties. from the earliest weeks in the life of a puppy through the intensive training of each dog and human partner, then on to the careful follow-up of each graduating team, your caring makes a difference.

With every Canine Companion placed, CCI changes a life. Where someone once depended on other people to open doors or pick up dropped items, the service dog provides independence. Where a knock on the door or a smoke alarm's warning went unheard before, the hearing dog alerts its partner to the sound.

We have been training remarkable dogs to help people for over twenty-five years. Your thoughtfulness enables us to continue to provide freedom for our graduates.

Thank you once again for your generous gift.

Sincerely,

Robert L. Henning
National Charitable Gift Planning Officer

P.S. It was a wonderful event and please pass on our appreciation to all the fantastic folks who made this possible.

Dear Mr. Cassar and Mr. Bennett,

Thank you again for your generous contributions last year. Your support has made a tremendous difference and we are recognzing your generosity with Team Sponserships of Wayne Kemick and Laura Bernett. Both Wayne and Laura received successor dogs when they attended team training.

Wayne Kemick resides in Canada where he is an investment advisor. Agar is the third dog Wayne received from our organization. Wayne uses a wheelchair as the result of an accident in 1998 that left him with quadiplegia. Agar, a lab-golden cross will increase Wayne's independence and help break down social barriers. He will also be used to pick up dropped items.

Laura uses a wheelchair after suffering a stroke in 1980. Placed with Tully, she will use the dog to pick things up for her, open and close doors and pull her wheelchair. Laura has a degree in Medical Technology and likes to visit nursing homes and volunteer witht he local stroke club in her free time.

Your contribution has made an impact in the lives of these two graduates as well as the others we serve.I look forward to hopefully working together again soon in the future.

P.S. Best wishes to all the folks at the Motion Picture Industry Charitable Alliance!
